Hank III fuckin kills. Carrying on the legends of David Allan Coe, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Willie, Waylon and the Boys…. Country Music is not JUST the Grand Ole Opry… It’s what is out in the honkytonks of all the great states…
@Evangelander why does everything have to be that way not that its not a good thing but its been that way for so long thats why i like hank III cause he is a outlaw like his dad
@bassplayer850 they should but all these kids these days want to hear is taylor swift and colt ford and it pisses me off pardon the language but what happened to george strait aaron tippin hank williams jr willie nelson conway twitty just to name a few
@Evangelander Actually Hank Sr. was a heavy drinker, and cussed like a sailor. The reason that era never used bad language is beacuse it was not allowed on a record or at a live performance. It’s safe to say that the religious crowd is the reason why. Im not saying every great country song should be that way, but as it works out, some of the best songs are about drugs, sex, and all around bad behavior!
@Evangelander … You are allowed your opinion per the bill of rights, but it doesn’t make your opinion worth anything. If you don’t like it don’t listen to it. Call it Schwettydogballz for all I care; It isn’t “your” old rugged cross, and it sure isn’t the corporate crap that’s popular.
I LOVE BEIN HIGH! HATE BEIN LOW! AND I LIKE TO DRIVE MY TRUCK DOWN A MUDDY DIRT ROAD, AND IM WORKIN REAL HARD TRYNA GET PAID, CUZ IMA CRAZED COUNTRY REBEL N IM DRIFTIN STATE TO STATE <3
@Evangelander Call it what you like, it’s fucking amazing. And obviously not for prudes. It’s not a church choir practice, it’s a SHOW. If you want God-centered music, Hank III is the wrong tree to bark up, sir.
I would call this country punk – in other words a mix between country and puck – seriously consider the antisocial attitude, haircuts, cursing and such – mixed in with a country twang and basic country beat. This is just my opinion of course, but if someone thinks that country needs to be crass and filled with cuss words, then they aren’t really country – country was God-centered. Almost all country singers of the 40s, 50s and 60s believed in God and sang godly songs along with their “country.”
I gotta agree, most of the country music today SUCKS! There are very few outlaws of country left and I am glad to see that the grandson of the first country outlaw is carrying on the Family Tradition!!

@SalandFindles The bass player is a dude…I saw them play a few years back. He’s a great bass player. Ugly as hell but really cool
@SalandFindles its uuuuhhhh Joe F@ckin Buck
Hank III is the real deal. Country music is so watered down and homogenized any more that I can’t stand it.
